CSIR-IMTECH focuses on cutting edge microbial science and technological research with an aim to deliver new drugs and healthcare solutions for the poorest of poor. For the same, CSIR-IMTECH is intended to enter into collaboration with global pharma giant Johnson & Johnson for development of new drugs for Tuberculosis (TB).

CSIR-IMTECH is organizing an 'Industry-Academia Meet' at IMTECH campus from 4th-6th October 2017. The aim is to get a better engagement with key industry & academic leaders and establish a platform where we can discuss the challenges of Industry and how academic/research institutions can forge new R&D partnerships and alliances.

The summer training program has been restarted at CSIR-IMTECH.

Special seminar by Dr. Rohit Jangra on role of host factors on Hantavirus entry. Dr. Rohit is a Postdoctoral researcher at Department of Microbiology & Immunology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.

Snapshots of the double scientific event organized by CSIR-IMTECH on 26th April 2017 - a one day symposium to commemorate the scientific contributions of Dr. Amar Klar (1947-2017) and a special lecture by Nobel Laureate Prof. Roger Kornberg on the occasion of 'CSIR-IMTECH Nobel Laureate Series'.

Nobel Laureate Prof. Roger D Kornberg from Department of Structural Biology, Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford, USA, is visiting CSIR-IMTECH on 26th April 2017 to deliver a talk on "Advances in Pharmaceutical Chemistry - The End of Disease?"

Janssen Team from US, Europe and India visited #CSIR_IMTECH on 19th April 2017 to discuss the challenges and solutions associated with patient care through discovery of novel antibiotics for infectious diseases.
