Threshold :
A pre-selected numerical value used to distinguinsh between binders and non-binders. For each peptide a score is calculated form the matrix and if that score is greater than or equal to the selected threshold the peptide will be predicted as binder or if it is less than threshold then the peptide is predicted as non-binder. Higher the value of threshold greater is the stringancy in prediction results.

True Positive :
A correctly predicted binding peptide. That is both the experimental and the prediction results say that it is a binder.

True Negtive :
A correctly predicted non-binding peptide. That is both the experimental and the prediction results say that it is a non-binder.

False Positive :
A non-binding peptide which is predicted as binder.

False Negtive :
A binding peptide which is predicted as non-binder.
