OxDBase accession number: It is a uniqe identifier assigned to each entry of OxDBase database.

Name: The systematic name of the enzyme given by the Nomenclature Committee.

Categories: Aromatic dioxygenases divide into two categories on the basis of their mode of action.

Subcategories: On the basis of ring clevage, aromaticringcleavage dioxygenases (ARCD) further divide into two sub categories:

Enzyme: Link to ENZYME databse to provide wide background information for users.

Synonyms: Alternative names with identical or similar meanings. For example, catechol-oxygen 1,2-oxidoreductase; 1,2-pyrocatechase; catechase; catechol 1,2-oxygenase,catechol dioxygenase; pyrocatechase; pyrocatechol 1,2-dioxygenase are the synoynms of catechol 1,2-dioxygenase.
