Mitochondria are subcellular organelles found only in eukaryotic cells that are srrounded by two layer, inner membrane and the outer membrane. Mitochondrial proteins located in different subcompartments play distinctive roles in various complex biochemical processes. Knowing their submitochondria locations is essential to further understand their functions and assist the drugs design of many closed cystic structure.There are over 100 kinds of complex diseases related with mitochondria.The importance of mitochondrial protein is refelcted by the fact that children have been dying from mysterious illness that have been traced to tiny structure called mitochondria.
