The summer research fellowship program of CSIR-IMTECH is a short term training program designed especially for students of B.Sc. /M.Sc. or teacher in Universities. IMTECH does not admit students directly for the summer Training Program and admission to this program is strictly through the National Academy Summer Training Program conducted jointly by National Academy of Sciences India, Allahabad, Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore and Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi. Students who are interested in Summer Training at IMTECH may apply directly to Academies of Sciences for SRF Program indicating their preference for IMTECH.The Institute will not entertain direct applications from candidates seeking such placements.CSIR-IMTECH will not provide any financial support for the training and the students will have to make their own arrangement for stay in Chandigarh during the program. However, CSIR-IMTECH may consider specific requests from outstation students only, for shared accommodation depending upon the availability of the same(Rs. 5000/- plus mess charges as per actual will be applicable as per CSIR-IMTECH rules).
