About Speaker : Director, Contrast Agent, and Molecular MRI, Center for Animal MRI, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.She has obtained a Ph.D. degree from IIT, Kharagpur in Chemistry. She has carried out her postdoc from Contrast Agent and Molecular MRI Research, Center for Animal MRI (CAMRI), USA. Manasmita Das is an experienced biomedical researcher, who aspires to apply her cross-disciplinary skill sets for developing potential solutions to human health issues. Originally trained as a synthetic organic chemist, she spent more than 8 years in the field of cancer nanomedicine. Her past research primarily focused on formulation, characterization and PK/PD evaluation of a variety of novel drug delivery systems based on biopolymers, lipids, carbon nanotubes, and magnetic nanoparticles.
