Cementing 70 years of diplomatic relations, the Technology Summit 24 edition of DST-CII is a high profile bilateral platform to provide opportunity to industry, institutes andgovernment agencies from India and Italy to interact with each other. It is a forum to forgepartnerships, create joint ventures and explore new avenues for collaboration to boost tradeandinvestments. The 24th edition of the @IndiaDST-CII Technology Summit witnessed great collaborations between India & Italy in science & technology and business.Presence of two world leaders Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and H.E. Speaking (Speakers List) on the occasion 24th edition of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India - Confederation of Indian Industry Summit Dr Anil Koul Director CSIR - Institute Of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh said Indians are very efficient in new drug discovery & development, & have best doctors, and change in regulations is required to make it happen, especially for AMR & Biosimilars space. The Focus of the session was on Healthcare infrastructure, health insurance, diagnostics, medical devices, medicines, emerging trends, genomics, robotics. And the  objective was to understand the healthcare synergy between the two countries that would have a positive impact to drive healthcare innovation, growth and gain new markets for revolutionizing the next generation of healthcare.

The event was attended by Ministers and Parliamentarians, Government Officials in relevant department, Foreign Missions in India (Only for Inaugural Session), and Representatives from Large Scale Industry, Medium Scale Industry, Law Firms, Academics and R&D Institutes and Laboratories, Business Incubators, Startups, Training & Consulting Firms, Financial Institutions/ Venture Capitalists/ Private Equity Investors/ Angel Investors, Legal/ IPR Institutions, Certification & Accreditation agencies, and Students, Faculty and Head of Academic Institutions. Also Delegates from  more than 60 Govt./Private Organisations from Italy has participated in the summit.
