About the Contest

Education is not about learning the facts but about training minds to reflect. A life without thoughts is an uncomplicated existence. It is essential to have ideas and express them, share them, and put them into practice.

The fundamental goal of this contest is to make students think and help students explore each other by finding solutions to various real-life problems. With many young and innovative minds, India strives to become a global leader in research and innovation. This contest encourages students to dare to think differently.

Objectives

Get students thinking outside of the curriculum.

Create innovative and creative solutions to social problems.

To inculcate problem-solving culture among students.

Offer an opportunity to express ingenious thoughts.

Who can participate

School students of class IX to XII from Govt schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Municipal Schools, Govt. Aided Schools, Private Schools, etc. are encouraged to participate in this contest. Students from any discipline can participate.

Closing Date of contest: 20 April 2023

Result Declaration: 05 May 2023

How to Participate

Terms & Conditions:

● Participants are encouraged to submit ideas having relevance to real-life problems.

● Only one submission by an individual or team shall be accepted.

● Students from any discipline can participate.

● Ideas should be Original. Plagiarized entries will be summarily rejected.

● CSIR IMTech Chandigarh reserves the right to use submitted entries with appropriate acknowledgments for dissemination and promotional use.

● The top three winners will be awarded prizes and certificates.

● The decision of the jury/evaluation team will be final and binding.

● CSIR-IMTECH reserves the right to cancel the competition without any prior intimation.
