My lab has been developing computational resources, prediction algorithms, web servers, databases and big data analysis to solve biological problems since 2004 with emphasis on Antivirals (siRNA, miRNA, peptides, compounds), viromics, genome-wide RNAi, vaccine epitopes, Quorum sensing/Bio-film, CRISPR/Cas based genome editing and viral NGS data analysis ( We are focusing on the development of antivirals against dengue/flaviviruses and Indian virome exploration using NGS approach. Earlier, I worked at National Centre for Diseases Control, Delhi from 1996 to 2004 in molecular characterization of etiological pathogen involved in major epidemics/outbreaks in INDIA under biosefety requirements (BSL-2/3) especially Dengue, HIV, influenza, Hepatitis, etc.
