About

Bioinformatics Centre at CSIR-IMTech is organizing a training programme towards developing skills for analysing data being generated from different sources in the area of biology. Enormous increase in genomics data is expected in next 10 years with estimates projected at 1 zetta-bytes/year by 2025. Likewise, technological advances in proteomics, transcriptomics also contribute to this pool of big data. There is a dire need for trained personnel who can handle and analyze this data to generate new knowledge. 

Aim of Workshop

Familiarize participants with in-silico approaches to analyse biological data related to genomics, proteomics and transcriptomics data.

Plan of Workshop

The workshop shall include lectures by experts and hands-on sessions.
